What-Ho Hellfire-ites!
It’s finally time to start homing in on our grand target – as we head into the final week of our campaign I am delighted to announce that we are just a sliver away from being 75% FUNDED!
That’s right – we could hardly be any more on target to fund by our deadline, but we’re never going to settle for just scraping by! To that glorious end we are upping our marketing game by distributing new information far and wide to more board game cafes, shops, reviewers and wonderful Kickstarter backers just like you than ever before!

What an ASTONISHING rollercoaster the last 24 HOURS have been!
Not only have I been delighted to welcome our 100TH, 101ST and 102ND BACKERS, but I could not be more thrilled to announce that we are 80% FUNDED!

*** Please DON’T do this. Duelling was progressively banned over the course of the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth centuries throughout most of Europe and North America. Interestingly - it was never banned in the UK as it was always just considered ‘murder’ (which is a fair point when you think about it). Even more interestingly the ban on duelling was repealed in Mississippi in the 1970s and was thereby enshrined as a right in the state constitution - so Mississippians can do just as they wish!

We’ve hit the tipping point where things start to get REALLY exciting!
Yes - we’re half way through our Kickstarter campaign, but, more importantly I’m delighted to announce that we’re 60% FUNDED!
In exciting news - the marathon task of evangelising The Old Hellfire Club across every board game cafe in the US is well underway! If you live anywhere bigger than Detroit they now have no excuse not to have ordered a copy so if you’re passing please make sure they know what you expect of them!

I’ll say right now that it was Timothy that first snuck into the closed Egyptology galley! I had been somewhat preoccupied plotting REVENGE!
When I finally noticed the unearthly wailing and realised that Timothy had inadvertently woken Imhotep from his 1000 year slumber!
‘We must flee at once!’ exclaimed the magnificently attired KARL MARX who had just arrived on a PENNY FARTHING! ‘But first we must rescue your little dog!’

Good Morning Wonderful Backers!
How are you doing on this fine warm Spring / crisp Autumn day? I don’t think I could be feeling much more fantastic as we head into what in the UK is a FOUR DAY WEEKEND!
(Don’t worry - I’m going to be hard at work making sure The Old Hellfire Club funds!)
So - what’s been happening here?
Well - as promised - I’ve completed my ‘make-sure-every-board-game-cafe-in-Canada-knows-about-The-Old-Hellfire-Club-a-thon’ which has taught me two things...
1) Canadian gamers are, on average, among the loveliest people you will ever get to meet! So if you happen to be passing a board game cafe in Canada (or the UK or the Republic of Ireland) please do drop in and mention us! And...

I had never seen the dog before, but I grabbed my POTTED CRAB and followed it into the street!
It turned out that the dog had only wanted my lunch and so crab consumed we set off for an adventure in THE BRITISH MUSEUM!

CONFESSION TIME! I’ve been trying to stagger the exciting news updates so that I have something to put into each bulletin - but today I just can’t!
TOO MANY EXCITING THINGS HAVE HAPPENED!
1) WE’RE OVER 50% FUNDED!! That’s right - in less than SEVEN DAYS we’ve hit £2663! That’s astonishing! That’s amazing and that’s ALL because of you! THANK YOU!
2) Yesterday I was excited about our 50th backer - today I’m excited about our 60TH BACKER!
3) And that’s not to mention the fact that one of our new backers is the TABLETOP INDUSTRY LEGEND - JOHN KOVALIC (best known as the genius behind the artwork of MUNCHKIN!)
4) THE OLD HELLFIRE CLUB was just given a phenomenal review in TABLETOP GAMING MAGAZINE! You can bet that we’re pretty pleased to be described as “Silly, surreal and side-splitting” and “An absolute riot”!
